Uganda association of engineering valuers and loss assessors is a professional organization that brings together experts in the fields of engineering, valuation and loss assessment.
We ensure that claims are handled efficiently and that policy holders receive their compensation for their losses

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

Promotion Efficiency
To provide and maintain a central organization for the promotion of efficiency, progress and general development among persons engaged in valuation/ Assessment work, whether members of the Association or not, both for their own advantages

Promote Relationship
To promote personal and friendly relationship between members of the Association, To hold conferences, seminars, meetings and public fora for the discussion of professional affairs, interest and duties

Professional Supervision
To exercise professional supervision and control over members of the Association to safeguard their interest, welfare and other rights; to further their advancement, and to promote whatever may lead to the improvement of the status of the Association

Welfare
To provide for the welfare of the persons in the employment of the Association or formally engaged in any business acquired by the Association and the wives, widows and family of such persons by grants of money pensions or other payments

Promote Training
To promote and foster education and training in the business of insurance in general and employees liability, fidelity guarantee, third party, burglary or theft, fire, life, marine, and vehicle in particular including mortgage or other investment insurance

Raise Funds
To borrow or raise money in such manner as the Association shall think fit and to secure the repayment of any money borrowed, raised or owing by mortgage, charge or lien the whole or any part of the company's property or assets.
